I remember years ago when there were regional power outages due to ice and Swadleys brought their trailer to our town and fed the teams of linemen for many days. “ Ate here for the first time on a recommendation of a local...food was pretty good. It wasn't like, out of this world good, but it was more than acceptable. We were able to split a meal, like a judges platter, with a little bit of everything and it was more than enough for my wife and I. It was good...the mac and cheese was not great, had ZERO seasoning....no salt, no pepper, but all the meats were great. Service was pretty good, server seemed really busy for 8pm, with about 75% of the tables empty but he managed to get it done. Ribs were above average and left me wanting more, pulled pork was below average, but the 3 sauces made it acceptable. Potato salad was pretty good. The format was a little weird, but no biggie.. Format...order, sit down, someone brings you drinks, when they get around to it, and ask you want pickles...then they bring you a solo cup of hamburger pickles ...food came out fairly quick tho. Give it a try ”
